Warehouse Ready by WINS is a 6-week training program designed to help individuals gain education and experience for employment in the warehouse industry. This program offers a holistic approach that not only focuses on career preparation, but the importance of developing self-sufficiency and other life-management skills.

Why join Warehouse Ready?

Warehousing is one of the most highly demanded jobs in Calgary! 
 

Through the Warehouse Ready program, WINS aims to help people build their confidence to enable suitable and stable employment, securing the path to self-sufficiency. Participants of the program will also receive training for Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), forklift and pallet jack operation, and gain on the job experience at our Donation Centre.

Program Information
Ready to join Warehouse Ready by WINS

This 6-week program offers a mix of classroom and warehouse training at our Donation Centre to give participants hands-on experience. 

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

  • 4 weeks of classroom instruction and warehouse training

  • 2 weeks of work experience at our Donation Centre

Eligibility
 

Eligible participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

  • Can effectively communicate in English and have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level of 5 or higher

  • Must be available to attend the entire duration of the program
